Water Jump - Water Tray

A water jump, also known as a water tray or water obstacle, is used in training horses for show jumping events. The goal is to familiarise the horse with jumping over water obstacles and to build both horse and rider's confidence when approaching and clearing such challenges. In competitions, water jumps can vary in shape and size, making it crucial for both horses and riders to be adept at handling them. Nedlandic’s water jumps, made from sturdy PVC, are flexible and easy to move. After a jumping competition, training, or play, they can be effortlessly rolled or folded and stored. The durable PVC material ensures that the water jump can withstand contact with large, heavy horses. With a soft, upright edge approximately 60 mm high, the tray can serve as a water basin, making it a challenging yet safe obstacle in equestrian sports.

• Building Confidence: Ensure the horse has confidence in the rider and in its ability to safely jump over water obstacles. Use positive reinforcement and rewards to encourage good behaviour.
