The Patura super alkaline battery
These Patura batteries have a constant high voltage throughout their service life.
This ensures that the energiser always delivers a constant voltage to the fence during this time.
The alkaline batteries give a higher average voltage than zinc carbon batteries and have more energy with the same capacity.
There is no cadmium or mercury in the alkaline batteries.
The 9V dry batteries are air-oxygen batteries, meaning they need air to develop energy.
Before commissioning the dry battery, first remove the label from the air supply openings.
If the battery will not be used for a longer period of time, close the air inlet openings again and store the battery in a dry and cool place (this prevents self-discharge of the battery).

Patura 9 V super alkaline batteries
Patura super alkaline batteries have a constant high voltage gradient throughout their service life. This ensures that the energiser always delivers constant power to the fence during this time. You have more energy stored with the same capacity due to the higher average voltage, compared to a zinc carbon battery. Patura alkaline batteries do not contain mercury and cadmium.
They can be stored for 3 years.

- Before commissioning remove the label from the air supply openings.

How long can I use my battery?
We indicate a capacity on all our batteries with a normal discharge of 100 hours. A battery is completely discharged in 100 hours and the capacity removed determined:
this is called capacity C100

Usable capacity = normal capacity x 65% e.g.: 80 Ah x 65% = 52 Ah

Practical tips for battery operation
- Buy 2 small batteries instead of 1 large one
- Use an automatic charger for charging
- Leave a battery on the charger to be fully charged
- Replace the battery in the device as soon as the battery check indicator lights up

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
