‘Basic’ show jumping course – versatile set for 4 obstacles

With the ‘Basic’ show jumping course, you receive a complete set for creating a varied jumping course. The set is suitable for lessons, daily training and competition-focused exercises. With eight standards and twelve poles, you can build four separate obstacles, including verticals, oxers and various lines or combinations.

With the version without a keyhole track, the jump cups can be attached to different sides of the standard. This makes it possible to share one standard between two adjacent jumps. Depending on the chosen course layout, you can therefore build up to five jumps next to each other.

Benefits of this course set

Everything in one complete set: You receive standards, poles, jump cups and the required red and white flags.
Four freestanding obstacles: The eight included standards provide enough equipment to build four separate jumps.
Choice of two types of standards:
With keyhole track: the commonly used system within equestrian sport. This version is particularly suitable for competition-focused training or official competitions.
Without keyhole track: a versatile choice for training sessions, jumping lessons and recreational use. The cups can be attached to several sides of the standard, giving you greater flexibility when setting up the course.
Available in two weights: The 7.7 kg pole is easy to handle and suitable for frequent assembly and dismantling. The 10.5 kg version offers additional weight and stability for intensive and competition-focused use.
Weather-resistant: The materials used are suitable for outdoor use. The poles do not absorb moisture and are protected against UV radiation.
Low-maintenance and user-friendly: The plastic is easy to clean, does not splinter and has a smooth finish without sharp edges.

Plenty of training possibilities in one set

  • Suitable for horses and ponies of different levels.
  • Suitable for jumping lessons, training at home, riding clubs and competition preparation.
  • Can be used to build verticals, oxers, related distances and technical exercises.
  • The eight standards allow you to create four completely separate obstacles.
  • With a clever layout, the version without a keyhole track can be used to create up to five adjacent jumps.
  • The colours of the standards and poles can be selected at no additional cost.

Designed for long-term use

The jump poles consist of a strong wooden core surrounded by a plastic outer layer. Thanks to this construction, the poles do not absorb rainwater, are not susceptible to wood rot and do not become heavier in wet weather. The plastic standards are approximately 175 cm high, weigh around 5.5 kg each and are easy to move. An additional advantage is the height marking on the standards, allowing you to set the desired height quickly and easily.

Customise the set to your preferences

You can choose the colours of both the standards and the poles. Simply specify your preferred colours when placing your order, at no additional cost. You can also select the desired type of standard and choose between poles weighing approximately 7.7 kg or 10.5 kg.

Frequently asked questions

Which components are included in this set?
The set consists of 8 plastic jump standards, 12 jump poles measuring 300 cm, 24 matching jump cups, 4 red flags and 4 white flags.
What is the difference between standards with and without a keyhole track?
A standard with a keyhole track has a vertical profile with fixed openings into which the jump cups are inserted. This system is widely used within equestrian sport and is the preferred choice for competition-focused use. With the version without a keyhole track, the cups can be attached to several sides. This provides greater flexibility and allows one standard to be used for multiple adjacent jumps.
Which version should I choose for competitions?
For use during official competitions or competition-focused training, we recommend standards with a keyhole track combined with 10.5 kg poles. The keyhole track is the standard system used with competition cups and safety cups. For official use, always check whether the complete setup complies with the current regulations of the relevant sports federation or competition organiser.
How many jumps can I build with this set?
As standard, the eight standards allow you to build four freestanding obstacles. When choosing standards without a keyhole track, one standard can be shared between two adjacent jumps. With a suitable layout, this makes it possible to create up to five jumps next to each other.
Which pole is best suited to my needs?
The pole weighing approximately 7.7 kg is a practical choice for training, home use and riding clubs. It is sturdy, while remaining easy to lift and move. The approximately 10.5 kg pole is heavier, sits more securely in the cups and is better suited to competition-focused training and competitions.
Is the course suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. Both the standards and poles are designed for outdoor use. The plastic finish is UV-resistant, does not retain water and prevents the material from rotting due to moisture.
